Questions, fears, and decisions crowd every quiet moment. In the middle of all of it, the dishes still pile up, the bathrooms still need scrubbing, and the floors still need mopping.
At A Trusting Hand Housekeeping, we believe a cleaning chore should be the last thing anyone fighting cancer has to worry about.
What Cleaning for a Reason Does
Cleaning for a Reason is a nonprofit that connects women undergoing cancer treatment with free professional house cleanings. Since 2006, it has helped more than 15,000 women by partnering with cleaning companies across the U.S. and Canada, all of whom volunteer their time and services.
The idea is simple: when a woman is exhausted from treatment, a clean home can ease some of the stress. It gives her more energy for rest, healing, and time with the people she loves.
Our Six Years as a Partner
We’ve been proud partners of Cleaning for a Reason for six years. Through this partnership, A Trusting Hand provides two free cleanings to women in our community who are battling cancer.
We’ve been caring for Marietta homes since 2012, and the work has always been about more than clean surfaces. Our name says it: A Trusting Hand. People trust us with their homes, and we don’t take that lightly. Giving back to women during one of the hardest seasons of their lives is one of the most meaningful ways we can honor that trust.
Why It Matters to Us
Service is at the heart of who we are. We don’t do this for recognition. We do it because we know what a difference it makes to walk into a home that feels fresh and cared for after a long day of treatment. A clean home won’t take the cancer away, but it can lift a weight, and sometimes that is exactly what someone needs.

- Wait to be matched with a participating cleaning company
