We know life gets busy, and sometimes you need to skip a scheduled cleaning. We want to be completely transparent about how that works so there are no surprises.

At A Trusting Hand, our pricing is based on a consistent cleaning schedule. If you’re a bi-weekly client and skip a visit, your next cleaning will be four weeks after the last one. More time means more build-up, and a deeper clean is needed. Because of this, your next service will be billed at the slightly higher, four-week rate. The same applies to our weekly clients. If you skip, your next visit will be two weeks later and will be billed at the bi-weekly rate. This ensures our team has the time they need to deliver the high-quality service you expect.

We also want to be upfront about scheduling. When you skip a cleaning, we can’t always fit you in the following week. Our regular clients have reserved slots, and we prioritize honoring their existing commitments. Unless we have a last-minute cancellation, we will need to wait until your next regularly scheduled visit.

We value keeping your preferred time slot and cleaning technician consistent. If you are on an every-four-week schedule and we are able to accommodate you a week after a skip, your following cleaning will be in three weeks. This gets you back on your normal four-week rotation without disrupting our schedule or your preferred cleaning technician’s route. If you are on a two-week schedule and we are able to fit you in the following week, we will return on your normal schedule after that. This helps us ensure you get to keep the same technician you know and trust.
